Song for my Resurrection
The new 5 song E.P. by
Jasmine Mace
![]()
Recorded at Electrobeast studios
and Emergency studios
Jasmine was exposed to music and recording at an early age, thanks to her dad ,Dan Mace, who ran the Electrobeast Studios out of his basement. His knowledge of mic preamps, Hawkwind and Joy Division got her going on her musical path. A stint in the Cleveland State orchestra polished up her violin playing , but playing bass in Ted Flyns art damaged combos, my Mothers Mustache, and the Eye Team, taught her about 21st Century noise creation.
This is Jasmines first solo release, although she did have some help from some talented people , Alea Lytle, Brian Straw, and Neal Shurhag, and of course her father Dan. The E.P. is a precurser to the Towering Anvil full length disc that is almost complete.
You can catch Jasmine on the air Wednesdays, 3:00 to 5:00 on WCSB, to stream the station go to WCSB.org

Jasmine Jams with Ted and Klye and his treated cello. A fan blows balls hanging from strings which randomly hit the cello strings creating umm, random noise. All the instruments are run thru a tape echo. This was performed at the Asteresk gallery in Tremont. Ted and Jasmine were also joined by Craig on tape loops .
